Darcey's Birthday Party

Darcey also had her friend birthday party on her birthday. She had picked a rock n' roll theme for her party, so we had 9 girls descend on our house for an afternoon of fun, games and screaming! At Darcey's birthday parties I organise the food and Craig is the gamemeister and putter-upper of decorations...

Darcey requested a game of musical statues with Craig playing his guitar for the music. So he would play slow or fast and they would have to do the same with their dancing. They loved it!

Craig was very clever and instead of playing pin the tail on the donkey, we got a HSM 3 poster and Craig copied their faces and they played pin the face on the High School Musical star, Parkah was the winner and got to take the poster home...

Every year Darcey and Craig spend a lot of time looking through cake books and picking which cake they would like for their birthday, this year Darcey picked a guitar.

Apparently at the birthday parties this year, all the kids are screaming when the cake is cut. Our party was no exception, they were LOUD!! My mum had the right idea...
