Christmas Concert

Last Monday was Darcey's school Christmas Concert. They have one every year. It is a lot of fun and the kids really enjoy themselves. There is always HEAPS of people there, as you can imagine with about 780 students then add their families, extended families etc... it can get a little crazy! We are pretty lucky that we live so close that we can walk, if we did drive we would end up parked just around the corner anyways!

This year the Year 2's sang the Reindeer Boogie. It was a great song and Darcey loved practising for it. She loves music and she even got an A for music in her report that we got yesterday. Well Done Darcey!

This video is spent most of the time zoomed in on Darcey, they always have designated areas where you can go to film and take pictures but with four year 2 classes, it can get a little crowded! And it isn't a very big area either. Darcey is in the back row, second one in (with the green antlers and white fluffy stuff on them). I also cut out the book awards so you didn't have to see that because I wanted to leave in the zooming around so you can get an idea of how many people were there and I also zoomed in on Craig and Tiarni, although Tiarni was waving she couldn't see me!
